I created a handy macro and using it to show project statuses on a page. I only want it to be editable in 'edit' mode so that all watchers get a notification of status changes once changes are saved. However, the handy macro can be changed while in preview mode by anyone and not send ANY notification messages that a change has occurred. How can I limit handy macros to only be edited in 'edit' mode?
thanks in advance!
Hi,
Thank you for using Handy Macros for Confluence.
Handy Status is the macro initially designed to speed up working with status options. You can save time by updating statuses without starting to edit a Confluence page. At the same time, you can reuse status sets that brings consistency to your Confluence pages.
You can track the history of status changes in the Status history tab (available on Cloud (by status click) and Data Center (by status click)) and in the Confluence page history. You can restrict status editing in the page view mode by applying Confluence page edit restrictions (this way, users will be able to view the page but not edit it).
Best regards
Alexander
