How to disable notifications on confluence page when using add-ins like Gliffy

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
1) Deactivated the Notify watchers on the confluence page:
2) Started editing gliffy diagram -> when saved the gliffy diagram -> Watchers get notified
-> Where can this be deactivated? -> Is this the right path: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Why-can-t-I-disable-Confluence-email-notifications/qaq-p/343932 ?
The goal is to diactivate confluence notifications for watchers when doing smaller updates on diagrams and still want to keep the revision history of the diagram.
