How to display the (latest) changed/updates items (page, comments, attachments) of a page and all descendants?

Hello,

I'm trying to display the latest changes which have been applied to a specific page and all his descendants, including comments and attachments (page modifications obviously).

I've tried it this way, it should work, but it does not show comments - I've no idea why?

If somebody has an idea how to achieve it with another (free) plugin don't hesitate (I'm using the latest free version of the reporting-plugin):

{report-table:maxResults=2}

  {content-reporter:space=myspace|types=page,comment,attachment|scope=Checks > descendants}
    {date-sort:content:modification date|order=descending}
  {content-reporter}

  {report-column:title=content}{report-info:content:title|link=true}{report-column}
  {report-column:title=by}{report-info:content:modifier > full name|link=true}{report-column}
  {report-column:title=date}{report-info:content:modification date|format=dd.MM.yyyy HH:mm}{report-column}

  {report-empty}(i) There are no recent updates yet.{report-empty}

{report-table}

Thanks in advance for any hint!

Hello,

I am unable to get the Recently Updated Macro to display comments and attachments that have been added to pages containing the labels I am looking for.

Sven, I have been abele to leverage the Labels to feed the content from those descendants into the Macro on the parent page. If I tag each child page with the label, then plug that label into the macro on the parent page, I do see some updates.

However, though the macro appears to be designed to show comments and attachments, it does not deliver that functionality.

Try using the Labels function to see if that helps for your particular needs. Any ideas on my challenge are certainly welcome :-)

Thanks,

Aarik

I too would like to be able to limit the Recently Updated content to Comments only. And it does not work for me in Confluence 5.4 either.

Is there an issue open for this?

Hello!

For generating list of pages that were modified for specific time and also modifiers you can try to use https://marketplace.atlassian.com/1220721 plugin.

For comments report from page (and descendants) or attachments you can use https://marketplace.atlassian.com/1219786 plugin.

Hope this can help.

Thank you

I realise that this might not be relevant to OP anymore but I recently found myself wanting to do the same.

I am able to get attachments from another page using the Attachment Table Macro.

There's an option to pick the Space:Page you want the list from.
You can decide what columns you want.

In my case i wanted one specific file listed and got this using Regex:)

Hopefully, this is helpful to someone!

Cheers

Hello

You can use the Recently Updated Macro to display a list of the most recently changed content within Confluence :)

Re-hi,

unfortunately "Recently Updated Macro" does not provide an option to say "show only updates from page XY and his descendants".

I would have to tag all related pages, which is not really working in my case.

Thanks anyway...
