How to import an exported space into Confluence 6.6.0?

Heather Thomas March 23, 2018

I have exported a space from one Confluence instance (xml.zip) with the intention of testing how it imports into another instance of Confluence - both version 6.6.0. I cannot find a menu item or anything in Confluence server that allows me to import a space. Where can I tell it to do that?

Thanks!

Heather

Hi Heather! For importing a space you must have Confluence System Administrator global permission, you go to Confluence Administration, in General Configuration, in the Administration Section you can find "Backup & Restore", there you can do the import of a space :)
