How to manually change confluence base url by editing Configuration files

We are upgrading/migrating Confluence Server  to a new  Confluence Application Server from version 5.8.10 to 6.13 with change of Windows Server Hostname & IP address. Our Confluence authentication is through JIRA for user management. 

Could you please help us to know how do we change the IP address of the Confluence Server manually from the configuration file, so that the confluence Server can have a new IP address, and confluence can start with the new IP address.

As when we restore the backup from Production using the XML file it retains the IP address of production and due to JIRA integration for user management we are not able to login to the Confluence console as the integration is not present on JIRA due to the new IP address of Confluence. So we would not be able to change the server Base URL using confluence administration GUI.

So we are stuck with the situation and this is the reason we would like to change the IP address of Confluence Server (server Base Url ) manually using configuration files.Please could you guide?

Hi @siddharth,

You have to change the baseurl in the entities.xml present in the XML back up. Please refer to this link for more details. Hope this helps.

We have changed the baseurl in entities.xml and zipped it again.Now we are getting following errors can you please suggest what may be the issue.
