Who decided to remove the Last Modified Date from the Confluence Page display and how do I re-enable it? It's vital to know how old pages are when I am looking at them to see if they are outdated. Is that a setting a Site admin may have done?
Per Atlassian:
I understand that the "Last modified date" previously appeared in the Page Information section in Confluence. However, with the recent updates, the last modified date is now displayed at the top of the page, near the Edit button. This allows users to quickly see when the page was last updated without needing to open additional menus or modals

Feature request opened here: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-82719
Feel free to vote to add the Last modified date to the Details modal!

Hello @Rich Szabo
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
You can still get the last updated data for a page by clicking the ... button in the upper right corner of the page and selecting either Version History or Advanced Details.
Otherwise I have not found a setting to add it back to the page header information the way it was previously displayed.

Well now, looking further, many of the pages seem to have a Last Updated or Published date up in the upper right corner, to the left of my profile picture. Many, but not all. Better than nothing!

Hi @Rich Szabo your right, I see the same on my side. It seems to be on pages where we have updated to the new editor, where as legacy pages do not have it (but have the old Page information).
Not sure why this information was moved to a completely different place than before...

We're seeing the same issue. Now that "More Information" has been moved to the details panel in the lower right, the "Last modified date" is no longer visible. This issue was just flagged to me today by our QA team.
I've opened a support ticket for this with Atlassian - we'll see what happens.

I'd swear I opened a ticket but can't locate one. I will open one now

@Rich Szabo I was looking for this on a page yesterday, so your question is timely.
When I tried Advanced Details in the more actions menu, my only choice is View Storage Format, which just gives me the HTML source for the page. You have to click the browser Back button to return to the Confluence page.
I noticed today (when I tried a page with only 5 published versions) that the Version History page has a Return to Page Information link at the bottom. The Page Information page displays a lot of information that you might find useful (though not as useful as having the last updated date on the page itself):
The Details icon (on that vertical toolbar at the bottom right) shows Last updated by, but not when. I notice that you can also open the Page Information page from this panel by selecting the number of incoming or outgoing links.

Suspect this predates the change you refer to, but I found this backlog item about Confluence macros including last modified:
CONFCLOUD-57916 Provide a macro to display version of a page and other page info
