A few options you have:

  • Use Page Properties and Page Properties Report macros:

Create a page property on each child page, such as "Order" or "Sort Order," to specify a custom ordering.
Add a Page Properties macro on the parent page, which will display a table of child pages based on the specified property.
Use the Page Properties Report macro on the parent page to display the child pages in the desired order.

  • Utilize a third-party plugin:

Explore available Confluence plugins that provide enhanced page tree management or reordering capabilities. The Atlassian Marketplace offers various plugins that extend Confluence's functionality, including page tree customization options.
Manually adjust page titles:

  • Modify the titles of the child pages to include numbering or prefixes that reflect the desired order. For example, you can prefix the titles with numbers (e.g., "1. Child Page A," "2. Child Page B") to achieve a specific order.
