Hello All,
We want to apply edit restrictions on a confluence page for all users.
Kindly guide us how to do so via scripting. Because this page is deleted and created every day with fresh data via script.
Is there any method using javascript? for e.g I found this article to hide labels for a particular space:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-to-hide-labels-in-confluence-page-using-javascript-in-specific-spaces-836603034.html
Any help would be appreciated.
Hi @SWAPNIL SRIVASTAV on ScriptRunner for Confluence there is a built-in script that allows you to bulk set edit restrictions on parent and child pages https://docs.adaptavist.com/sr4c/latest/features/built-in-scripts/confluence-administration-built-in-scripts/add-remove-restrictions-to-parent-and-child-pages
However you mention that the page is deleted and recreated everyday. We have a 'Listener' available which automatically applies parent permissions to child pages that are created in a Space. Perhaps that might help.
@SWAPNIL SRIVASTAV I would suggest using ScriptRunner for Confluence https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/confluence/builtin-scripts.html
