How to render a tooltip for a glossary entry on a page?

The Glossary macros https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/fr.spectrumgroupe.confluence.plugins.glossaryare quite nice for building/searching a glossary.

I'm looking for a way to have the glossary entries appear as tooltips when referenced on a page. I don't see a way to do this. Is there a way?

You got it Bill, we work around. Some functionalities like add term with a simple highlight in any page or check if a term exists within the glossary (Tooltip) will be released soon. The next version is scheduled beginning Q3 2014.

Hello Bill, that suggestion is something that could be added to the corresponding issue tracker for Spectrum Groupe, which is the vendor for this add on. You can find it after this link, and create a ticket for new feature as such they can evaluate that.

We are beginning to evaluate the new version. Feature set looks quite nice.
