How to use task lists in page templates?

Hi,

I created a page template in a space. On that template I have one task list ([]). When I save the template everything seems to be ok. When I open it again in the editor the task has been deleted.

It this a bug?

the same happened to me, I do not know if this is a bug.

But: I found that if you enter the task list inside a table's field the task list will still exist after re-opening the editor .

unfortunately this does not solve my problem.

We have created large templates with lots of tasks in it. Now we have to modify these templates, but we can't because in edit mode we cannot see all these tasks.

I do not want to recreate these templates with tables.

It's definitely a bug so I tried to report it to Atlassian. In the contact form I am requested to "Ask the community" - not direct contact to Atlassian support. So I hope that this report will be noticed by Atlassian.
