Is there any way to lift up some articles in Confluence search by keywords?
As I see - there are 4 factors (https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-do-i-understand-the-ranking-of-confluence-s-search-results-785614686.html):
It would be useful to add some additional factor, that can be used by space admin.
For example - we have some space as Knowledge Database.
Scenario is following:
Space Admin knows that standard confluence search by keyword 'a' returns ranged list of articles a1, a2, a3, a4.
Space Admin's goal is - pop up article a4 on first position in confluence search by keyword 'a'.
Thanks in advance,
Alex.
Hello, @Alex Kiselev _Itransition_!
Currently, we can not alter the ranking of search results within Confluence.
We can, however, use labels to better organize your content. We have a thread about this. Here you check it:
Further down our reports, I have found an old request about this here:
For short, we can use labels to improve "searcheability" of our content. As a third-party solution, there is a possibility that a plugin might help your case. Take a look here:
Looking forward to your reply, Alex!
Alex Kiselev says that "popularity" is a factor in ranking.
I'm not sure what "popularity" means. As of today Popularity is not mentioned on the documentation page https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-do-i-understand-the-ranking-of-confluence-s-search-results-785614686.html
