The table structure on the page is:

Requirements Documentation

   Contracts

       Create Contract

              Contract type 1

              Contract type 2

I am entering in one word from the title on the contract type 2 page and it cannot find it. Any thoughts as to why i cannot find it?

hey @teresa lodge

I'm just going through some community posts that has been awhile for some time and see what I can do to help.

If you're searching in the Quick Search Bar on the top right corner, you should be able to get the page in the result if you search it using any part of the Page Title. In your example, entering the keyword "type" should give you both result of the Contract type 1 and Contract type 2 pages as result.

If the search doesn't give you anything, I'm thinking the search index might be corrupted or out-of-syned.  In this case, Rebuilding Search Index will be able to fix the issue. You can follow these stels:

  1. Choose the cog icon on the top right corner, then choose General Configuration
  2. Choose 'Content Indexing' under the heading 'Administration' in the left-hand panel.
  3. Choose the 'Rebuild' button in either the 'Search Index' section.
(If the indexes have never been built, its button will indicate 'Build' instead of 'Rebuild.)

In case if this doesn't give you the search result, you may want to perform a Rebuild Index from Scratch which will require Confluence to be restarted.
