Looking at the screenshot you gave us, it seems that you are using either Confluence On-premises (Datacenter or Server) or this is an older space in Confluence cloud and is still using our Legacy editor.

Either way, I was unable to replicate this parenthesis situation. With this in mind, I would like to ask you a few questions:

1. Are you using Confluence Cloud or On-Premises (Datacenter or Server)?
2. Have you ever edited the page which you took the screenshot of?
3. Is that present if you create a new space?

1) We are using Confluence Cloud.

2) Never. Not edited

3) i did'nt test.

But now it is not there. i think it resolved on update.
