Hi Community
I have accidentally deleted some content on my page and i tried using cntrl+z but failed to recover content. Is there a way i can roll back doc version to a specific point i started working on the page.
Kindly assist
In Confluence you can always go back to any previously published page (provided the version, or the entire page, hasn't been deleted and purged).
First view the page and select the "More actions" (three-dots) menu in the top-right, then select "Page History":
The next screen will show you all the past versions of the page.
Click "Restore" in the "Actions" column on the right to restore that page version to be the new published version of the page.
You can also check two boxes in the "Select" column on the left and then click "Compare selected versions" in the top-right to see the difference between two past page versions. That can help you see what's changed, and identify which page you want to keep.
Note that this is where it is handy to have used Comments when publishing your pages (to distinguish them from each other)! This used to be easier, but now it's a slightly hidden feature in that "More actions" (three-dots) menu when editing a page.
Online forums and learning are now in one easy-to-use experience.
