Hi Karim,

Confluence does have an option that can Archive content however this is applied at the Space Level. You can archive Confluence spaces by following this procedure:

  • Open the Overview of the space
  • Choose Edit space details
  • Select Archived in the Status drop-down menu
  • Hit Save

This process is detailed even more on our product documentation.

If you wish to "archive" only few pages in a space, there is a workaround to do it via permissions and page restrictions.

For example, at the top of the page tree, create a page called "Archives" and restrict that page to be viewable only by you (or users that need access to archived pages).  You can now move the pages you want to archive under this parent page, so they will inherit the page restrictions and become accessible only to you.

There are also a few different 3rd Party Apps available on the Atlassian Marketplace that can add additional archiving functions to Confluence.

Cheers,
Shawn
