I want to view a JIRA backlog page from a confluence space shortcut.

How can I view a JIRA backlog page from a confluence space shortcut?  I tried to paste the JIRA URL after selecting the '+' under Space Shortcuts but got an error.  Any ideas?

This does not give me the backlog VIEW that shows issues grouped by sprint and the 'ungrouped' issues.

You can use the Jira Issue/Filter macro within Confluence to view a Project backlog (you will also need to apply JQL)

Example:
