If I change my global template would it affect my current spaces that used the same template?

Hi there!
I currently have a few spaces that use the global template but they have already edited these spaces for their needs. If I edit my global template and implement them, would my current spaces with their own edits to their pages from the global template be changed as well?
if you use a template, its just taken for the initial create. A copy is made with another name. So changing the original template will not change the copies.
