If I update and change my corporate email, will that break my User access in Atlassian?

My IT manager needs to adjust my email (shorter) for compliance with the preset defaults to access an important server.  When we do this, and update the info here in Atlassian (Confluence and Jira) will that BREAK any access to these two resources?

Hi Miguel,

Normally no. In fact, normally, once your atlassian account is active, your email address will only be used for email notifications.

So, you can shorten your email address as you plan, and then modify the email address configured on your atlassian profile (if you are using Atlassian Access, you will need to modify it in your Organization's managed account settings: admin.atlassian.com).
