If anyone checks a task list item as complete, does that update for everyone?

Hi everyone! So I know you can add a task list to a page you are editing. My question is if I add the task list and someone goes on the page and checks an item as complete, will everyone else who comes to the page after that be able to see that task as complete?

I really want to just have a blank checklist at all times because I want the task list to merely be used as a sort of worksheet guideline for those who need it.

Yes it checks it for everyone.
