If i have a server license for confluence, can i pay the maintenance only 1 year on 3

My point is : i don't need maintenance, only new versions of confluence once a while.

To spend less money, i can wait every 3 years to get new versions of confluence by paying the one year maintenance fee.

Is it possible to do things that way ?

We are unable to separate the cost of the license and the maintenance as it comes together most especially on your initial purchase. Renewing maintenance is optional after the initial 12 months period. In your case, you may want to purchase for a 12-month period and decide whether you wish to renew the maintenance after the initial 12-month period. As far as I know, renewing your license will also include the cost of the period you were off maintenance.
