If you attach a file or image to a restricted page, will the image itself also be restricted?

We want to post somewhat sensitive docs/images to the Wiki and we want to share it with only people who have access to the Wiki site (page is on restricted access). I'm still reluctant to do this though, since I'm worried that the attachment will be visible to others who may not have access to the the Wiki page itself.

How are attachments / images to restricted pages treated?

Hi @Ken Villa,

If you restrict the page, then attach the image to that page, only people with access to that page will be able to see the image (assuming that is the only place that you have the image).

The attachment will be visible to Confluence Admins and System Admins though, who have access to all pages
