Image thumbnail no longer available after drag and drop

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
After I drag and drop the image to description field, it automatically added full size image, not a thumbnail image (Attached screenshot). If I add image by clicking attachment button and select the image from the list, image is added as thumbnail. I would expect by default, it always inserts image as thumbnail. Please correct me if I am wrong. Much appreciate for your help.
- Jira Version: 8.4.2, Build: 804003
- Attachment is enabled.
- Enable Thumbnails is ON.
Drag and drop: No thumbnail image.
Insert by clicking attachment button from Description editor: thumbnail image.
