Import multiple csv files into confluence

Hi there

Is there a possibility where I can import multiple csv files into confluence. And then each csv would create a new page. 

I would appreciate all kind of help

1. Install Advanced Tables for Confluence to get the CSV Macro
2. Suggest using Confluence Command Line Interface (CLI). Depending if you want to continue to edit the csv data or just display the csv data from the file, then you can do one of the following:
   1. addPage to add a page with the csv macro wrapping the csv data from the file - this will allow easy editing of the csv data
   2. addPage to add a page with the csv macro referencing an attachment and then addAttachment to add the csv files to that page or a more general page
   3. addPage to add a page with the csv macro referencing an system file and place the csv files in the correct location of the Confluence home directory

Hi Bob Thank you so much for you help. "A" sounds very interesting, but I have one more question to "A". When I create a page with addPage on CLI is there an option to create multiple pages at once. I have about 500 csv files with knowledgebase entries and my task is to import these files in confluence- each as a separate page.

Hi Wuhu, I'm in the same boat. Did you ever find a way to do import your knowledgebase without having to hire a team of data entry specialists?

It is very easy to script (groovy or any scripting language) CLI actions to do bulk operations like for each file in a directory. You need a good naming convention.
