I exported a space from another site and imported it. I can access the space by going directly to the URL, but it is not visible anywhere else on the site or in the nav menu...
I tried replicating users and groups from the other site before the import.
I also tried resetting space permissions to default. I have Free subscription on the new site so cannot edit permissions directly.
Has anyone encountered this or has any suggestions to try?
Hi Andrew,
Sorry to hear about this problem. I created a support case on your behalf over in https://getsupport.atlassian.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/23/JST-820822
With that I believe our support team can better address this problem.

Andy
@Andrew Gilman Welcome to the Atlassian community
It most likely has to do with the space permissions. Let me see if I can get someone from Atlassian to take a look.

I've just imported another space and it worked as expected. Replicating user groups from the other site seems to have done the trick. But...
I still have a problem with the first space, which I imported for the first time before I replicated user groups. Deleting it and re-importing it now that I have correct groups does not work as expected - it is accessible, but not visible in space directory.

As a workaround, I copied the space in the source site, exported it and then was able to import it into the destination site as expected.
