As I understand it, if I put the word "cheese" into the Confluence quick search box and press enter, it will search all the spaces in my instance of Confluence for documents that contain "cheese." On the page where it displays the result I can, in the left pane, limit the search to a certain space (or other filter.)
Is there anyway to limit it immediately? For example, if I only want to look for documents in the SDKB space, can I type something like "SDKB:cheese" and have the first search limited to that space?
I'm thinking not only because I've searched and searched and haven't found anything, but thought I'd ask. Thanks.
It looks like you have already been to the Confluence search syntax page, however, it might look like the thing that you are looking for its hidden in the drop down tab under the header "Date range search"
