I'm trying to insert a JIRA Macro into a Confluence page. there's nothing special about the page, and I have Admin view/edit privs.
Steps to Reproduce:
1) In the Confluence page, select the "Insert More Content" button.
2) Select "JIRA Issue/Filter"
3) Click "Select Macro"
4) Select "Issue Statistics"
5) Configure the JIRA gadget with the proper attributes.
6) Click "Save". The gadget looks as it should in the preview window.
7) Click "Insert".
Expected result: The gadget should be inserted in the page at the desired location.
Actual result: The gadget is not shown.
I've tried: switching to a new browser, different attributes in the gadget, altogether different gadgets, etc. and NOTHING works. This is ruining my day.
Anyone have any thoughts? I've trawled through the forums, but all the questions similar to mine are very old, and usually involve older versions of Confluence. I'm stumped.
Edit: I can insert Pie Charts and they work, but that's not what I'm looking to do. I have a specific need for seeing the Issue Statistics arranged by Priority.
Sounds like a bug. Have you opened a support ticket?
