Including page on another page causes table text to be highlighted and unreadable

I am trying to display a sub page in confluence on a main space page and it is causing an issues with the text. See below images.

 

the sub page looks like this on its own:

And then it looks like this when I include that page on the main space page with the built in include page functionality. Its highlighting or showing the header rows like this for some reason and making it hard to read.

Hi @Alex Villafranca  and welcome to the community!

Can you check the main page and see if the include page macro is inside any formatted sections? Inside a header or where the text before and after the include page macro is bolded? Just throwing out things to try.

Thanks @mrcrandell.sw  and I just checked and I don't think it is. I also tested this by creating a completely new page with no formatting and it is still doing it. It is odd because in the preview shown below its normal

but then when I hit save the main page is like this again
