Hi,
Is anyone have some knowledge and/or experience related Confluence and Joomla integration?
We have an existing Joomla site for Forum and I'd like to integrate (especially SSO reasons) with our existing Confluence website (v. 4.1.4). Is it possible?
What are the possible issues and risks? Is it worth to do it? Should we move completely to Joomla?
Any though, idea, recommendation, feedback will be highly appreciated.
Cheers,
Selcuk
Hello Selcuk,
Actually there's no plugin available that could make this kind of integration between Confluence and Joomla and being honest with you this kind of configuration is not common, so natively in Confluence is not possible to perform this kind of integration. The only way would be by some customization but anyway this would require some development and analyzis of the environment, normally to perform customizations we usually recommend an Atlassian Expert that is a kind of certified partner that can provide a better assistance with customizations, you find them in the following link:

Just a side note, I've noticed that you mentioned "SSO reasons", for this kind of functionality is not possible also to integrate Joomla with Confluence but you can integrate Crowd with a custom application (as Joomla), but anyway this is a kind of customization and will require some development, see below an article that explains how to perform this kind of integration for SSO purposes:

Hope this helps.
Kind Regards,
LJ.
