Is Analytics broken on Confluence Server?

Hello, 

We are still running confluence on server and our analytics cockpit is reporting abnormally high numbers. As an example for 'attachment views' it would normally be about 100-400 a day but then there would be a jump to about 23,000.. And when I export the .csv i can see that the records are duplicated.

 

Just wondering is this from the end-of-life for server or is there something else we should be worried about. Thanks

Hello @Liam Lynch 

According to your screenshot, you seem to have an old version of either Viewtracker or Attachment Tracking (which is now part of Viewtracker) running. I recommend always updating to the latest version, even when running the app on the Confluence server.

Now, in order to find out, what caused this very high number of duplicated entries in your Confluence database, please export the Confluence Support ZIP and the apps bitvoodoo support ZIP. And then create in our help desk a ticket and attach those ZIPs.

@Liam Lynch It should still be working fine.  What are you seeing in the logs?  Any errors or other issues?
