Is it possible to FTP files to a specific Space or a shared location in Confluence?

We have a user that wants to run a cron job that will generate some files and ftp them to a specific Space or location in Confluence instead of having to manually attach the files to a Space. Thanks in advance.

Confluence Command Line Interface has the addAttachment action making it easy to script.
