Is it possible to change Confluence group names by using Confluence rest API endpoints

I am curious about how can we change Confluence group names? Is it possible by using Confluence rest API endpoints. If possible, how?

There's no API available to let you change a group name. You'll have to make group name changes manually via admin.atlassian.com. There's more information on this here https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Atlassian-Access-articles/Org-admins-can-now-rename-groups-in-cloud/ba-p/2276321

That documents how to retrieve information about existing groups or create new ones.  I'm not seeing an endpoint that answer's OP's question about changing group names.
