Is it possible to customize the dashboard?

We're using 5.9.5. Is it possible to customize the default dashboard at all? I saw under General Configuration > Further Configuration I could customize the Welcome message. But is it possible to change other aspects of the dashboard? Or, do I just need to create a new space (called Dashboard or something) and create my own dashboard that way? Thanks.

Hi,

Yes, you can create your dashboard space. Modify the space homepage the way you want it, and then set it as the site home page under General Configuration > Further Configuration
