Is it possible to disable uploading attachments with the same name?

Current situation: If you upload an attachment with the same name of an attachment already existing in Confluence, the application will create a new version of the current file.

Is there a possibility to disable this behavior? We would like to have a warning message like "Please choose another name for this attachment." in one of our spaces which will include a picture database.

I believe it is by design and there's no possibility to disable it
