Is it possible to migrate existing confluence installation to new server using docker installation?

I notice there is a docker repository for confluence. I'm having trouble with my existing installation (on Ubuntu) and would like to migrate to a new server. I've done this in the past going from Windows to Ubuntu, but would like to know if it is possible to do so with docker.  can the config files be edited to reflect my current install?
