Is it possible to restrict editing privileges on specific sections of Confluence to specific users?

I just discovered Confluence. I've never actually used it.

I'd like to know if what I have in mind is possible. I have a global team spread out over 20 countries.

I'd like to create a space on Confluence with 20 sections, with a section for each country.

The purpose is for each country team to be able to update the others on what they're doing.

I'd like each country to only have permission to edit its section. They would not be able to edit any part of the document besides their section.

Is this possible?

@Gabriel Morris

Yes, that is possible. You should create a separate space for each team / country. Each team then only has read / write rights in its own space. In the remaining space only read rights.

In the confluence cloud version as the free version, however, the rights cannot be set as differentiated.
In the server version and the other cloud versions with product plan higher than free, this is possible.
