Hello Atlassian Community,
I am managing texts / writers with confluence.
When i receive a text from a writer, i make inline comments on the page to tell him what to modify.
The problem is that when the writers click on "edit the page" to actually modify the page, all the comments are gone. The writers needs to open a second tab to be able to see them which is really not convenient.
Is there a way to be able to see inline comments while editing the documents like in Gdocs ?
Thanks for your precious answer !
Hi, Alexis.
Currently, when you go to Edit Mode, the inline comment is not visible and this is the expected behavior. There is a feature request raised at
* https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-36956
I suggest casting a vote on it to raise its popularity and leave your feedback for the problem that you are having in the suggestion ticket to let the product management team know. To learn more about our guideline in implementing a new feature, please visit

@Alexis S, we use talk plugin for the same purpose. it shows all the comments in page edit mode as well. If you are considering on adding a new plugin for this; i think talk would be ideal.

You can try this for a small cost. It isn't perfect but it is decent for a reasonable price.

This has just come out from K15t, about the same price and even better https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1220375/inline-comments-in-the-editor?hosting=server&tab=pricing

Why do you think this one is better? We would like to improve our app „Show Inline Comments in Editor“ and would love to hear from you. Thanks! :)
