Hi everyone
I have prepared the company hub and published it, but I notice that people do not pay attention to it or do not look at it frequently by themselves.
I would like to share with them each time I have made updates there. I imagine to share the hub like any other confluence page or with other tools - so that I can draw attention of the users on the hub and its content.
Of course I can send an email to everyone saying "hey, take a look again at the Company Hub, there are news!" but I think this does not really make sense :-)
Is there any option within confluence? Like a notification "Check the company hub"?
Thanks!
Hello @Verena Gisler
Best way would to be to make an announcement so basically anyone can see it. Make sure to include the company hub link. An example:
Hi Nikola @Nikola Perisic
Thanks a lot for your fast reply!
This sounds really great and is definately a tool that I will use in future!
What I am looking for is more a possibility that users get a notification by email, like an @mention. Reason for this is that we just implemented Confluence and not all my colleagues are using it frequently yet. The announcement banner is only useful if people are already in Confluence I guess.
Thank you!

Well, the only thing left is the Confluence automation rule, where for trigger you can set Scheduled to be like every Friday for example to send emails to user groups or individual users to take a look at the company hub.By default, there isn't a notification option for this. You would need to manually to do this.

Hello @Verena Gisler ,
I had the same issue at start, so eventually I removed Company hub (disabled the access) - though nothing much was done in designing it.
As when you have an update in Company Hub -
1. Have a announcement banner with the Company hub link - not always, as users tend to ignore most of time to annoucement. - WILL GIVE GOOD ANALYTICS VIEW INITIALLY
2. Add Company hub link as space footer in most-access spaces. - LOW VIEW INCREMENT
3. Slack dedicate channel for status updates (could be automated - but not with Company hub) - Additional Idea though!! - MEDIUM VIEW INCREASE.
4. Sending a mail sometimes cause chaos in mindset about frequent updates; may be add company hub link or changes details into your organization newsletter (this will give you good analytics) - VERY POSITIVE GROWTH IN VIEW
5. Integrate the Company Hub link in automated user access request (if you have) OR customised mail for new users joining the instance.
6 For ATLASSIAN - Probably they can add a notification pop-up for the active users as when Company hub gets an update.

Hi Piyush @Piyush Annadate _ACE Pune_
Thanks for your detailed feedback! So many options :-)
What do you mean with point 5 Integrate the Company Hub link in automated user access request? When new users are joining?
Thanks
Verena

Hi @Verena Gisler and @Piyush Annadate _ACE Pune_,
Sorry to hear you're experiencing these challenges. Piyush has already shared some excellent suggestions, and I’d like to add one more perspective.
Sometimes the issue isn’t just with the tool or notifications themselves, but also with company culture and resistance to change. Rolling out a new app is often not enough - encouraging real adoption requires a mindset shift, which takes time and effort.
You might want to revisit the core purpose of the Hub. If its role is primarily as a resource employees access only when needed, then constant notifications may not be necessary. But if ongoing engagement is important, consider building support among middle managers and asking your CEO to actively reference or endorse the Hub. Leadership visibility is vital in driving adoption.

Hi Yulia @Yulia Lenina _AppFox_
Thanks for your input!
You are absolutely right with that! We just started with Confluence with all users about one month ago and feedback is very different. Some colleagues use it daily in the meantime, as it is part of their work (for documentation) others do not need to use it in their daily work, so are less interested. As we also have other tools for collaboration, some are tired of ANOTHER tool to check about tasks and notifications.
But management is totally for Confluence and its assets. The hub is more or less an information hub for Confluence users - for example that there will be a new navigation soon. We have another tool for spreading company information like new employees or events etc.
Regards
Verena

Hi @Verena Gisler ,
I guess having an option/button to share Company Hub directly from the page would be nice. I tried checking open suggestions related to your question but I couldn't find one related to your question.
You could discuss this with Atlassian Support. Support staff can open a new suggestion based on your requirement.
*if they do so, feel free to share the link here
Cheers,
Tobi

Hi Tobi @Tomislav Tobijas
I used the feedback button in the Company Hub to check on this. Let's see what happens....
