Is there a macro that displays the values in one table based on the other, subsequent page's tables?

I have a page that has a top table with columns:

Master Table

Task Category |Task #| Comments

Sensor |  |

Communication |  |

Interface |    |

Note: content in between the |  | above should ideally be a hyperlink Task # that will go to the subsequent table's location.

The subsequent tables have different data points but they will have a Task Category and a Task # column.  The Task # column will have sequential, unique numbers.  If a line items in any of the tables has Sensor for its Task Category value, then those line items' Task # should populate in the Master Table - ideally with a hyperlink to bring the viewer to the Task #'s table.

please advise if this makes sense and any possible solutions - thanks

Hi @S H

As I understand, the first step of your case is to collect data from mini-tables on different pages to one big master table. For this purpose use the standard Confluence macros - Page Properties and Page Properties Report. Note that your mini-table should contain only one row.

The result big table will contain all the mini-tables you've got - each row stands for your mini-table. The first column with Page Names will contain links to the corresponding pages with mini-tables. The column Task Category may be empty and may be not - you'll see everything as it was in the mini-tables.

So the second step is to filter your table to leave only rows with a populated Task Category field (with a Sensor value or whatever you need).

For this purpose install the Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app and wrap your Page Properties Report macro in the Table Filter macro.

Now you can set the required filters - if somebody populates the Task Category field with the Sensor value in the corresponding mini-table, all the changes will be reflected in the filtered master table dynamically.
