I work on a strategic marketing team and am looking to gain insights into what material is actually useful for sales, and what content is under utilized or un-useful in Confluence.
Is there anyway to gain data into how often items are clicked on, downloaded, etc.? Surely, Confluence must have this data saved somewhere internally, is there a way to access it?
Thanks!
Hi @Trevor Deane ,
Another option would be to integrate Google Tag Manager into your Confluence site (using Scroll Viewport for example). You can then track events like clicks/downloads and see the data in Google Analytics.
Hi @Trevor Deane,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Out of the box Confluence do not show this information, you would have to use an app for it, like Page view tracker or Activity Tracker for Confluence. Your other option would be to use the REST API to create your own activity tracker.
