I don't seem to be able to find any easy or simple methods to expose this from the traditional Confluence metadata banner.

Update for Theme Press 2.x: In order to display the JIRA tickets linked to a Confluence page, you will have to enable the "Metadata banner". You can achieve this by going to the page's layout and in "Page Elements" select the "Metadata Banner" to be visible either with the title or breadcrumbs. Note that the title or breadcrumbs will need to be visible as well. You can find more information on the following page:

To show the JIRA Metadata you will have to activate the "page-metadata-banner" dark feature. To do this:

  1. Go to <Your Confluence URL>/admin/darkfeatures.action page.
  2. At the bottom add "page-metadata-banner.enable" and submit.
  3. On the page with the linked JIRA issue pick a layout where the page title and page info are visible.

You can then choose which elements from the "page-metadata-banner" you want to hide with CSS and/or use the HTML Copy Element macro to position the "#content-metadata-jira" somewhere else on the page.
