Is there any way to import *.dia files into Confluence?

Is there any way to import diagram files created in Gnome Dia into Confluence?

as workaround:

1. upload the dia file
2. in "dia" export as " scalable vector graphic" svg (multiple options available. use the scalable one)
3. upload that svg file with !<pathToFile> in the confluence editor

after changes are made in "dia" :

1. save the file and export the svg
2. klick on the dia file in the confluence page (outside of the editor!!) and klick the "upload new version"
3. klick on the svg-image in the confluence page (outside of the editor!!) and klick the "upload new version"

I'm not aware of any way to import these; the closest thing I know of is the Gliffy Plugin.

As far as options, in order of preference I'd try this:

1. See if Dia can interact with Gliffy
2. Save the diagram as a .jpg and embed as normal
3. Talk to Gnome or an Atlassian Expert about the possibility of a custom plugin
