I am not able to change the size of images nor able to move the images horizontally while posting comments. Earlier in the comments section, we had an option to select the image size and move it towards left/right side of the page, which is not available now.
I have got the same issue. I have a very small image of an icon, and I am not able to move it to the extreme left. This happened when I wanted to add an image into a sector that was created by an expand macro. Such a sector can be compared with a table with only one cell.
On a large monitor the tiny image is floating somewhere in the middle. Because of that it is easily overlooked.
For me the new create blank page interface is frustrating as well. Lack of font colors (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-67183), not able to create links to not yet existing subpages (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-67129) are for me other frustrations.
My first introduction to the Jira and Confluence Software was a very positive one. But when I see now how restless the functionality is changing, causing the layout of my newly created pages become inconsistent with pages created earlier, I am becoming more sceptical.
I am a strong supporter of continuous change, but am against an uncontrolled and unbalanced change process without having considered all the pros and cons of the change.
I think this one of the many challenges with the new editor. Previously we could manipulate images within tables, and now we cannot - much like you are describing in comments. I think it's the same issue. Extremely frustrating.
