Good Day,
I looking for help to solve following problem. When I copy whole page - content with text and images (page long for about 7 screens) and paste in the new place - a new page, PUBLISH button (right up corner) is showing following message "we are still saving your page" and never stop (I was waiting 3 hours and nothing). This blue button shows a circle, like a looped process.
My collogues were able to replicate this issue on three different accounts/laptops, simply they have same issue.
I would appreciate for prompt help. Thank you in adavance!
Hello there @Piotr Rutkowski!
That is a behavior which I have seen in the past. When I dealt with it, the person facing this reloaded the page and them, was able to publish it.
If reloading the page does not help, please allow me to ask you a few questions:
- Are you able to publish a page if you type content into it instead of pasting?
- Does this happen if you try to copy and past content from shorter pages?
- Are you and your colleagues using the same browser?
If you need to copy the content of a page, you can use the native "Copy" feature:
This feature allows you to select a place in your site and then copy the page into that space. Here is more information about it:

Hi Diego,
Thank you for your answer.
I just realized that I made a mistake with my description. I copy from outside of Confluence (Azure DevOps) and content that copied contains images and when I paste in Confluence, all is copied with images but when you move arrow on the image, then you see that the link is still there and pointed to the source in ADO.
Net, when I removed images and leaving all other content I was able to publish.
My question now is, if there is any mechanism to copy paste the content with images from other sources (not Confluence but e.g. ADO, Wiki, etc) that break the link and copy only images?
Maybe there is some workaround to copy content first to other place and later copy paste to Confluence?
I would appreciate for any advices and solutions.
Thanks,
Piotr.
