Keeping trace of status of tasks from task report

IN confluence we create tasks in several types of pages and have the possibility to define various tasks reports.

It would be nice to be able to add a status of the task or comments  (e.g.: I asked peter to do this on monday, he will discuss this in the global commitment board'). 

And this without to have to edit the source document (comments on assigned tasks are not accepted).

Is there a solution?

I believe what you are looking for is a limitation and there appears to be already a feature request open to address that.

Could you have a look and confirm if this is hat you are looking for, if it is, please vote and watch the case so that your opinion on this issue may be heard by our development team, comments are also welcome.

The feature will be addressed in accordance with our new features policy.
