I am trying to utilize team calendars to communicate our release schedule. I've configured it to pull in JIRA versions. It's so close to what we're looking to do. However, the JIRA reports it link to are pretty much useless to most of the audiences. I want to be able to link to some higher level release notes that are digestible by the business.
3 of the 4 links on a version in the team calendar seem to essentially go to the same place in JIRA.
The Summary and View Issues link go to the exact same place in JIRA and the Release Notes goes to a page that is even less valuable. Is it possible to link to another Confluence page with the actual digestible information from any of these links?
hi @Matthew Brand,
Just a suggestion,
you may add release dates through JIRA issue dates event type. limit the releases you want to render in the calendar with a JQL filter and mention the JQL in create event window.
also for the best of my knowledge it is not possible to give a confluence page as a event data source in team calendar.
