Hi,
So I'm looking to link a Trello board to our Confluence site to use a tool for managing page update requests etc.
I added the Confluence for Cloud power up. When trying to add a page link, it requires me to authorize my site by entering the link to my site. When I go to my site's homepage, the URL is https://(mysite).atlassian.net/wiki/home. However, when trying to connect to Confluence, the power up generates a "This is not a valid Confluence Cloud URL". As a note, I am the Site Owner and Admin.
I should also note that whenever I click Authorize, a separate window flashes for a split second before showing me that message.
I've also tried variants of the URL, but none of them worked. I get the same error.
https://(mysite).atlassian.net/
https://(mysite).atlassian.net
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks!
Eventually, my coworker tried and it worked for him. He attached a link to a page in a card. When I clicked it, it opened the Authorization window, after which I could link Trello to Confluence and use the Power up.
However, when trying to recreate the process through the Power up itself, it would give me the same invalid Confluence URL error.

Hi Martin, I've stumbled on the answer (or at least, an answer).
Start from Confluence, select the nine little dots in the top left, which pulls down "switch to..." menu, select Trello, navigate to the board and card you want to connect to confluence, then do what you're doing. Then the process works as advertised.
Worked for me, hope it works for you.
Mike

nothing seems to work. I cleared my browser cache, cookies, enabled popups etc. Tried different browsers. Tried from within Trello and Confluence, same error.

I have a similar problem - except my URL doesn't end with "atlassian.net" it ends with "jira.com".
