Hi,
I have searched through many results with similar questions on your forum but I do not get the same options from the tools button and when I paste a link it just pastes a HTML and not a chart.
I want to embed certain rows and columns from jira into a confluence page and combine this with information outside jira I want to add to create a live visual of the progress of an overall project & feedback from customer?
Thank you,
Mary
Hi @Mary Lyons
If you’d like a simple way to bring a slice of your Jira data into Confluence and mix it with notes or customer feedback, our Simple Tables app can help.
Just import a Jira CSV/Excel export, then you can hide/rename/reorder columns, add quick calculations and summaries, and present a clean project status table. If you’re open to it, please share a bit more detail about your setup (which fields, how you want it to look, how often it updates) in our help center and we’ll guide you step-by-step.

Hi @Mary Lyons,
Have you tried the Excel macro of Confluence? This macro can display the contents of an Excel file attched to the page.
As an alternative to Excel files, which require a lot of manual work, you could also consider a plugin that provides Confluence macros capable of displaying charts/statistics/reports based on data from Jira.
In case you consider using a plug-in, our Great Gadgets app for Confluence Cloud app offers all kind of macros for displaying stats & charts based on the data from Jira in real-time. It includes a Pivot Table & Pivot Table Chart macro that works just like pivot tables in Excel. This macro allows you to generate all kind of multidimensional statistics, heatmap tables and charts or various types, so it could be a great alternative to Excel spreadsheets.

Hi,
I was having alot of issues linking eTeam Project Alpha to lots of macro's in confluence. But I have it now.
Now, I am unable to embed an excel sheet from a live excel doc as I get the following error - "Insert Table Spreadsheet Macro" -the macro is disabled in the configuration settings. I cannot find this setting.
I am trying with macro > confluence content > excel >
Page Name: I can find the excel
File name : No appropriate attachements
It is an online excel document I want to embed in my confluence?
Can you please help.
Regards,
Mary

Hi @Mary Lyons
A Confluence administrator must navigate to the Confluence Administration section, go to the apps section on the left, select Table Filter Configuration, and then toggle the feature on.

Can you please do this? I do not have confluence administrator privileges.
I want to import and present a page from an online excel sheet.
