Links to Confluence when exporting to PDF/Word

I have noticed that when I export a Confluene page to PDF/Word the links that get exported are not direct paths and will not work. For example the current path to Confluence is https://confluence.<company>.com/....... When exporting the path seen in the exported document is file:///c:\pages\view.page..... This is because when I export and save it I am assuming this is the path to my desktop. How do I get it to keep the true path vs the redirected path when I export?

I'm having this problem and it seems like it's a known issue that's marked Won't Fix?
