List up archived pages?

Hi, all!

I want to clean up our Confluence spaces and archiving pages that are seemingly no longer being used or updated.

However, I also want to inform the team of what was archived in case they actually need that page to be up.

Is there a way to make a page that automatically lists up pages that have been Archived? And can confluence team members still access archived pages if they have the direct link?

Thanks for any advice or other things I can attempt to achieve a similar result.

Hi @Stefannie Tan 

Your users can find archived pages, go to Space settings > Manage content > Archived pages 

The previous page URL will redirect the users to the archived content, and they will see that the page has been archived and can no longer edit it (unless it's restored)

Based on your use case, you should definitely try the Better Content Archiving app!

It was developed exactly for the problem that you described ("clean up spaces and archive pages"), and for the longer run it helps to continuously maintain the quality! It does that by silently working in the background after the initial clean-up, thus hopefully there will be no need for another "big clean-up" in the future.

For your specific question, it can effectively automate the process of archiving those pages that haven't been updated or viewed for N days and it helps to automatically inform everyone via multiple channels:

1. Send out automatic notifications before they a page gets archived, that way giving a chance to the page author, last modifier, owners, etc. to update the page.
2. Send out another automatic notification after the page was archived. It helps to keep all stakeholders up-to-date about the page's lifecycle.
