Ryan Jacksland August 1, 2018

I just ran the installer for the trial version and when it completed it brought me to the login page. But its all plain text, there are no images displayed. What did I miss?

Edit: Its a server 2016 Hyper-V virtual server and same result in Chrome.

This is what the page looks like:

Hello Ryan,

This issue is usually seen with the archive version of Confluence, when it's not set up according to the Supported Platform for the version, or if it's missing full read and write permission to the Home directory.

Given that you used the Installer version however, these are not usually an issue, as the Java version included should be supported, and the installer would have set the permission for the Home directory.

Still it would be a good idea to check on these, the database, to see if it's supported, and also the Home directory, to see if Confluence has full read and write permissions for it.

Also, do check the log files in the log folders in the Confluence Install, and Home directory, and see if there's any indication of the issue there.

Hope that helps, and let me know if you have any questions.

Cheers,
Sattesh
